深圳佛教新闻网讯：据《Island》报道，近日，泰国赠送斯里兰卡Kotikawatte Nagarukkaramaya 寺一座精美金佛像，以感谢古斯里兰卡把佛教传入泰国，并肯定了Kotikawatte Nagarukkaramaya 寺对佛法弘扬的贡献。同时随赠的还有佛骨舍利。

这尊精美坐佛佛像高14英尺，宽7英尺，以宝石和半宝石装饰，是两国佛像不同雕塑风格的综合体现，非常珍贵。
